The somatic exercises

Lisa Abernethy's picture

I'm wondering if it's possible to do too many somatic exercises in one session?  I know we talked about only doing one side of the body at a time in the clinical sessions because it was too much for the brain to process to do both sides of the body.  Is it possible to over do a somatic exercise session?  For example if you did the complete cat stretch series fully on both sides it would probably take 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  Is that too much for the brain and body?

Hi Lisa,

I feels like 1 1/2 to 2 hours is a long time for the brain.
