Programs Overview

Clinical Somatics is an essential part of every body's lifelong health and fitness.  There are variety of ways anyone can benefit from Clinical Somatic Education, but the most basic and classic formats are (1) receiving hands-on treatment by a clinician, called a Clinical Somatic Educator (like going to a physical therapist, bodyworker, or yoga therapist); or (2) practicing Somatic Exercises by attending movement classes taught by a qualified Clinical Somatics professional, either a Clinical Somatic Educator or Somatic Exercise Teacher (like going to a physical therapy assistant, movement therapist or bodywork movement teacher, fitness or pilates teacher, or yoga teacher).

Similarly, there several ways to pursue professional study in Clinical Somatics, either as a career or a supplement or enhancement to an existing practice.  These training options include courses of study at levels that match how one might pursue Somatics as a client or student.  These courses can stand alone as independent trainings and certifications, or one might progress from one to the next as their interest in providing greater, broader, and more extensive benefits to their students and clients grows.  Please contact us if you have any questions about our programs, or for assistance in determining which levels and courses of study might be right for you.
