My life is devoted to the practice of horsemanship because the nature of the horse is what rings true to me, both inside and outside the arena. Over the years I have developed principles which are based on age-old horse handling methods. For over fifteen years I have been teaching these methods and principles. The goal of my workshops is that you leave with a better understanding of how to communicate with your horse.

We’re back in Northampton for a new training, and so we are pleased to be able offer a single day of free clinics to the general public right in downtown Northampton once more.

Malcolm Balk MSTAT (Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique) qualified as an Alexander teacher with Patrick Macdonald in 1984. Originally attracted to the Technique because of major tension issues while playing the cello, Malcolm enjoys helping musicians and other performers develop better control and more freedom. He also likes to work with pupils with a wide range of physical and psychological issues.
Jack Heggie earned a degree in physics and worked as a digital computer design engineer, programmer, and filed engineer for ten years before becoming a Feldenkrais Practitioner. He studied with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais in Israel and in the United States, and trained with Ruthy Alon, Mia Segal, and Shlomo Efrat, all senior Feldenkrais Trainers. Heggie offers unique insights on integrating the Feldenkrais Method into improving vision and into such sports such as running, golf, and skiing.
