Somatic Systems, Inc. Launches Shareholder Question and Answer Forum

NORTHAMPTON, MA — (Marketwire - December 13, 2007) — Somatic Systems, Inc. (SMAS - news), a leader in the field of pain management, today released a letter to shareholders from Chief Executive Officer Steven Aronstein. The letter is a response to shareholder questions the company has received in the past month, and provides detailed information about some of the company's business activities and growth plans, including planned locations for nationwide rollout of clinics and training classes. The CEO answers direct questions about Somatic Systems' professional training programs and financial aid, efforts with the military and VA hospitals, and the forthcoming books and television programs about the company's proprietary Clinical Somatics pain management system. The letter also confirms the company is planning to up-list to the OTC Bulletin Boards in 2008.

Are you very intent on moving up to the OTCBB in 2008?

Yes, we intend to up-list to the OTC Bulletin Boards in 2008.

We believe the smartest strategy for building a strong public company from the Pink Sheets is to concentrate on stabilizing the fundamentals of both the public and operational sides of the company — to increase company value and stock value through both business growth and a steady progress toward higher stock exchanges.

I assume you file financials so you can move to a higher exchange like the OTCBB?

[Full text of question:] Are you aware that there are not many pinksheet companies that file financials? This very legit on your part. I assume you file so you can move to a higher exchange like the OTCBB?

Thank you. We feel more comfortable and secure about building our company if we do so with ALL of our ducks in a row — building health in our clients or our company means all the pieces are taken care of and made strong, ethical, and successful.

Timeline on moving to the OTCBB?

We expect to move to the Bulletin Boards in 2008. We are currently selecting auditors, to begin that most crucial step of audited financials and full-reporting status.

When will new financials be out?

Our next release of financials will be out on schedule, in the first quarter of next year.

How many employees do you have?

5-10 for now, depending on time of year (e.g., during training programs, we add a number of additional full-time staffers). We are tiny compared to where we need to and will be in the near future.

Is the company operating in the black yet?

No, but all the infrastructure and components of our business plan are in place. With the marketing plans and opportunities of the coming year (2008), we expect to increase capacity and volume sufficiently to operate in the black even at our current number of locations. On top of this, opening additional clinics and training sites will increase revenue dramatically.

What would it mean to your company to get VA approval? Are you working toward that goal?

There are at least 3 different forms of military approval, all of which we are working on obtaining:

(1) Approval as a service and provider, so military personnel and veterans could receive Somatics treatments by Somatic Systems, and the federal government would pay for it. We have already presented and even demonstrated Somatics on important military officers, who have indicated repeatedly and emphatically that they believe Somatics is a valuable treatment for personnel and veterans, and that approval is a realistic possibility for Somatic Systems.
