Somatics 101 - 8 Week Somatic Exercise Class

Are you new to Somatics or have you taken classes with us before? Are you a couch potato, a competitive athlete, a desk jockey, or something in between?
Whichever the case, this class is for you!

Somatics 101 is a series of 8 individual Somatics movement exploration lessons, which teach you -- whatever your fitness or activity level -- to release unconsciously held muscles throughout the whole body. The series methodically works from the core outward—
freeing the back, abdomen, waist, hips, shoulders, neck, breathing and walking.

You will also learn a sequence of quick, easy exercises that you can do in less than 5-minutes a day, anytime, anywhere, in order to maintain better coordination, freedom, ease, and balance, resulting in a decrease of the aches & pains commonly attributed to aging, injury, or weakness.

The class is one hour on Thursday nights at 7 PM for 8 weeks (with a break on Thanksgiving Thursday). You can get great benefits from attending the whole series or even just from dropping in for one or just a few of the 8 classes.
