Somatics 101 Class

Thursday Evenings, 7:00-8:00, 8 Weeks, Starts March 04, 2010
Comprised of 8 individual lessons, teaching you to release unconsciously held muscles beginning at the core of the body out to the periphery. You will also learn the "Daily Somatic Essentials", a sequence of exercises that can be done anytime, anywhere, in as little as 5 minutes, in order to maintain better flexibility, coordination, and balance, resulting in a decrease of the aches and pains commonly attributed to injury and aging.

This is the first class of an 8-week series that teaches you to release unconsciously held muscles beginning at the core of the body out to the periphery.This class will introduce some basics of Somatics, and begin with the core exercises for addressing pain, injury, and inflexibility in the back and core — along with key exercises for obtaining the benefits of Somatics throughout your entire body. The series will also teach you the "Daily Somatic Essentials", a sequence of exercises that can be done anytime, anywhere, in as little as 5 minutes, in order to maintain better flexibility, coordination, and balance, resulting in a decrease of the aches and pains commonly attributed to injury and aging.

This Class runs Eight Weeks Long (every thursday) and beings on March 4, 2010. We encourage you to attend all the classes in order to achieve maximum benefit, but you will still get a lot out of just attending one or two classes. If you pay for the entire series of classes and have to miss a class, you can take the class later on.
