(SMAS - news) is pleased to announce that the Company is targeting the U.S. military in an effort to help relieve soldiers of chronic pain. Nationwide more than 41 percent of nearly 185,000 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who sought care from the Veterans Administration reported muscular-skeletal problems, mostly from back and joint pain.

More than 1.4 million active-duty uniformed personnel serve in the four branches of the Department of Defense, representing a potential multi-million dollar pain relief market.
