SMAS - news) is pleased to announce that it is currently developing a medical textbook about Clinical Somatics. The book will serve as a definitive neurophysiology textbook about the science behind the company's groundbreaking Clinical Somatics pain treatment techniques.
Somatic Systems, Inc. (Somatic Systems is already involved with two other books written for consumer audiences, expected to be published in the coming year. The company is also featured on nationally broadcast television features to be aired this year, and in talks with other television and media companies about additional coverage. All of these efforts are expected to grow awareness of the company's Clinical Somatics system considerably. However, this textbook will be focused on a critically different and important audience.
Intended for use in Somatic Systems' Clinical Somatics Professional Training Program, the new book will provide a strong teaching tool for the burgeoning profession the company is building. Additionally, the same book will be written for and usable in medical training, to provide an academic authority about Clinical Somatics' role in biology and the health sciences.
Clinical Somatics is a pain treatment method that obtains results unprecedented in conventional and alternative health modalities, but it is based entirely in western medical neurophysiological science. As a result, medical professionals are generally receptive when they learn about Clinical Somatics. This textbook will provide an important and larger component of Clinical Somatics' growth in mainstream healthcare, by providing developing medical doctors and other healthcare professionals with the educational material for understanding Clinical Somatics as an integral and essential component of any modern healthcare practice or treatment program. Having a volume like this that enables medical students to read about the science and techniques of Clinical Somatics as they are also learning about the other life sciences and treatment approaches is an invaluable opportunity for the dominance of Clinical Somatics in the fields of pain care and fitness.
The textbook is currently under development and the first edition is expected to be completed in the coming year. Along with the other books and media appearances, it is part of a larger effort on the part of Somatic Systems to provide the necessary tools to grow and establish the field of Clinical Somatics for many different audiences, and to gain broad acceptance and awareness of Clinical Somatics' substance and benefits where it can be the most help to a wide range of populations and needs.
