General office staff should attend to these routine things at the beginning of each day. Certain specialized staff (public relations, training support, et al.) may be assigned to other projects that demand priority almost upon arrival in the morning; however, even then specialized staff should make sure the first level of needs below (i.e., Start Day items) are addressed whenever possible
