Any plans to open more offices?
Yes. We have identified a number of strategic locations for office and clinic expansion, based on their current and potential markets; their proximity to important company growth projects, contacts, and institutions; and existing relationships with key personnel and their connections. In fact, based on these criteria, we already have a flexible and fairly lengthy roadmap for rollout of specific clinic locations as our business plan progresses.
Funding and revenues go into growing the company — we have spent this year enhancing our infrastructure. Our next phase is dramatically increasing demand and awareness (consumer, corporate, and professional) through marketing, public relations, and public education: You can see these plans implemented in the upcoming television shows; efforts with military, athletics, and businesses; books; and more.
Opening new locations both creates and is made possible by this increased demand and awareness. We strive to grow in a genuine and sustainable manner, so we are not a PinkSheet joke that disappears overnight; clinic openings will reflect this smart and lucrative approach. Look at Apple Computerís store openings since they launched brick-and-mortar locations in 2001 for a model. They have used stores to increase awareness, market share, and general brand foothold, and theyíve done so in a strategic and sustainable way that has built a strong base of assets, net worth, and increased value. Thatís the approach we are taking.
Of course, just like Apple, smart sustainable growth can mean opening a lot of stores each year. Given the relative ease and affordability of launching a Somatics clinic location, when demand spikes very quickly (either through some of our marketing opportunities next year and afterwards, or when the inevitable time comes that a big media outlet or celebrity creates awareness of us overnight the way Oprah did for Dr. Phil, Spanx, etc. etc.) to enable rapid expansion, we could open in quite a few locations all at once quickly.
