SMAS - news) announced today that additional filming will be conducted for their upcoming national television show featuring the company and its proprietary Clinical Somatics pain relief system and training programs. Final filming will conclude in January, and include some exciting features, such as practitioners who use Clinical Somatics in physical therapy settings, in place of conventional physical therapy techniques, to achieve dramatically better results for their patients.
Somatic Systems, Inc. (The television program, "Health Forum," will air nationally on the Women's Entertainment television network (WE tv) and the Travel Channel, as well as in syndication locally in 48 other television markets throughout the country. Somatic Systems' segment will focus on educating the general public about the company's proprietary Clinical Somatics pain management system. Especially pertinent in the era of rapidly rising health care costs, this groundbreaking program will teach viewers how to achieve lasting muscle pain relief without surgery or dependence on medication. The television segment will increase exposure for Somatic Systems among a significantly larger, more mainstream audience.
Additional filming encountered minor delays due to weather and scheduling conflicts. However, upon completion in January, broadcast of the show will begin approximately 8 weeks later. Air dates will continue throughout the year, and the company will announce show times as they are scheduled. In addition to the 50 guaranteed airings, networks may pick up the television segment on Somatic Systems for additional broadcasts.
