Attend group workshops in Somatics to learn movements and routines you can use the rest of your life — for specific problems (such as back pain or repetitive stress disorders), for particular routine needs (such as relieving pain from desk work or stretching before workouts), or for general Somatic fitness.
Workshops typically consist of one or two day meetings for 1 to 6 hours. For example, you may wish to try a 2-hour Relax the Back workshop. Or attend a yearly, 2-day full body relax and tune up workshop. For a more long-term experience integrated into your lifestyle, try taking weekly classes.
Workshops and classes are conducted fully clothed, in comfortable loose clothing. Most movement is done lying down on floor mats (adaptations are available for persons with physical limitations). Movements are slow, gentle, non-aerobic, and non-strenuous. All movements are done with ease and within your own personal comfort range.

Most frequently, workshops are conducted at our Clinic locations. However, we occasionally hold classes or workshops elsewhere, such as workshops and seminars throughout the country or regular classes in a fitness center or senior center. Contact us to discuss arranging or sponsoring a class in your area or facility.
Special needs and circumstances may be discussed on an individual basis.
