A series of 4 Somatics Movement Classes Starting on Friday, November 7th, 2014
Great for anyone who is dealing with pain or discomfort, recovering from injury, or who just wants to be able to move more freely.
In these classes, you will fine tune your ability to sense yourself in space through gentle exploratory movement; release habitual restrictions, maximize flexibility and range of motion, and find effortless ways to improve posture.
What is Somatics?
Somatics is powerful movement retraining for everyone. Through the use of slow, easy movements, Somatics teaches your nervous system to release chronically contracted muscles, giving you freedom from pain, greater flexibility, and an increase in overall good health.
The principles you will learn in these classes can be brought to all your activities – whether it’s how you get out of your car, play tennis, do yoga, hike or work in the garden.
Time: Fridays from 1-2:15 pm
Cost: $70 for the series of 4 classes. Pre-registration is required, as class size is limited.

A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required to reserve your place in the class. The balance of $50 is due at the time of the first class. Or – Save $10, and pay $60 by Monday, November 3rd.
