[Full text of question:] If you get VA approval, would the GI Bill pay for the certification classes for any VA person that would like to get certified and open their own office?

Title 38 Veterans Benefits provide funding for a variety of educational, job training, and business opportunities. Just as we are pursing approval of Somatics as a provider for military personnel and veterans, and for VA employees — so the government will pay for Somatics to help all these populations get out of pain— we would also like to see approval for government funding of veterans to attend our training program and open a Somatics business; certainly, we think the fact that a veteran trained by us could very likely graduate and begin working in our clinics to provide care for his fellow veterans would a be great, low-risk investment in rehabilitating our veteransí job situation.

We have already had students who attended our training program through funding from government or corporate job retraining programs. For example, one student was a lab technician being paid to retrain with us due to workplace injury caused chronic shoulder and wrist pain disability. (ÖAlthough, ironically, the Somatics treatments she was trained to perform on clients could have also just been used with her as a client to treat her own disability and allow her to return to her previous job — saving her employer thousands of dollars. This is why corporate programs are a huge win for all three parties — for employersí workforce management and bottom line; for employeesí livelihood, health and happiness; and for Somatic Systemsí revenue and growth).

As you know, military contracts are both very lucrative and very complicated to obtain. We are eager to achieve this goal, and are currently working on 6 different avenues and contacts to make this happen.
