Somatics Practitioner Training

Clinical Somatic Educators are trainined in 3-year, 3 semester 500 hour training process. Here are a list of training opportunities, as well as any introductory workshops and demonstrations.

The final semester of the Clinical Somatic Education Training Program Class of 2008 is offered at Somatic Systems Institute in Northampton, Massachusetts. As usual, the semester will be held over two nine-day modules. The dates are as follows:

Begin your journey to a Somatics career in only 9 days. You will be amazed at how comfortably and deeply immersed in somatic theory, philosophy, and clinical practice you will be, in such a short time. You will learn the foundations of postural theory, the principles of Somatics, a range of clinical methods, and go home with routines to already begin working with clients or friends.
